Aegina Numberwing Forewings

Scientific name: Callicore lyca aegina.
Common name: Aegina Numberwing.
Location: Southern Mexico to Peru.

Fun Fact: Adult males will employ a single perch for days and chase other butterflies from it. Females dwell largely in the canopy and are seldom seen.

Fine Print: Insects naturally vary in color, pattern and size, and so the pair you receive may not be completely identical to the pair shown. They also may have minor damage, especially in the case of those that died of natural causes.

Care instructions: Don't leave resin sitting in a hot car with oven temperatures (we're looking at you Florida). To clean, use a glasses cloth or other soft, lint-free cloth to prevent scratching.
