Aegina Numberwing Hindwings

Scientific name: Callicore lyca aegina.
Common names: Aegina Numberwing or Six-spotted Eighty-eight.
Location: Southern Mexico to Peru.

Fun Fact: Species in this genus are commonly called eighty-eights or numberwings, in reference to the characteristic patterns on the hindwing undersides of many.

Fine Print: Insects naturally vary in color, pattern and size, and so the pair you receive may not be completely identical to the pair shown. They also may have minor damage, especially in the case of those that died of natural causes.

Care instructions: Don't leave resin sitting in a hot car with oven temperatures (we're looking at you Florida). To clean, use a glasses cloth or other soft, lint-free cloth to prevent scratching.
